Hello ladies and gents,
I am assuming that most people that end up on this blog are going to be female and looking for inspiration for wedding party dresses ie. brides-to-be, bridesmaids and even school ball goers. Of course, there are men out there who will find info on this blog site useful also, particularly if you are a fashion designer.
Not only do I hope to share some fabulous resources, I also hope to further the discourse on sustainable fashion and make people aware of the issues and challenges that the Textile, Clothing and Footwear (TCF) Industry faces.
I would love to see the fabric manufacturing sector come to the party and produce lesser polluting fabrics. Hemp/silks are a good start. I am going to try and manifest this desire.
There are many changes I would like to see happen in the TCF industry locally and globally, after all, it is certainly interconnected.
Don’t worry the whole blog site is not a rant, I too like to enjoy the fashion frivolities that life has to offer. So have a look around, share some of my head-space and leave me some of yours too in the comments.
