About

Odeliska Bridal Fashion Service has been in operation since 1998. After 7 years servicing Melbourne clients, owner, Jemma Wuthenow (nee Howe), made the decision to return to Perth's sunny shores where she has been since 2004.

Jemma graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Mass Communication (Public Relations) in 2007. Her studies included PR and web design--the Odeliska website is an example of her work.

Bridalwear

Jemma has more recently specialised in wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses to apply the best of her skills in crafting garments of the highest order.

Tutoring

Jemma Wuthenow has also enjoyed teaching fashion dressmaking and patternmaking workshops at the Fremantle Arts Centre (FAC) and at Quality Stitch-n-Fit in Willeton.

Print

In 2008, Odeliska teamed up with local textile designer, Kate Wheedon Jones, to offer unique, hand-screened wedding silks, made-to-order. The results have been superb. Jemma studied textile design in Melbourne for a year to complement her fashion qualifications.

Independent Designer Clients

Independent designers such as Akira Isogawa (print), Joveeba, Jenny Bannister, Strangelove and Zanzi's Bridal list as clients that Jemma has had the pleasure of working with across patternmaking, dressmaking, sample making and print making.

Mass Production

Jemma's early patternmaking and sampling experience was forged in streetwear and children's wear for large fashion chains such as Myer and Target as the Australia's fashion manufacturing industry migrated to China.
